    Canon document scanners were installed at each remote location and the shipping paperwork from the delivery driver is then digitally sent to headquarters.   Images are automatically processed and indexed using OCR technology.  All shipping documents are then attached to the computer generated original within their existing accounting software.  By extracting the unique order numbers and depositing the images into a central database all order and shipping related documents can now be retrieved in a matter of seconds.

    Hundreds of orders per day are automated per day now saving countless time, money and labor.  It has eliminated multiple paper copies, manual filing and indexing and reduced retrieval time to seconds compared to minutes for paper retrieval.
