AXIC is a comprehensive offering for batch scanning and document capture in 32-bit Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT desktop environments. AXIC is a high-speed batch scan and index module with configurable processing queues. AXIC supports most scanners available on the market. Through easy-to-use image acquisition and indexing functions, AXIC is designed to meet any organization's document capture needs.

With AXIC, users can simultaneously perform work on the same batch from multiple workstations - including any combination of scan and index workstations. Furthermore, ApplicationXtender Image Capture features ApplicationXtender's indexing functionality.  AXIC includes auto-index, key reference file, and duplicate previous index features. Other advanced features include auto page rotation, thumbnail display, blank page separation, minimum page size discard (blank page deletion), automatic index increment, and index character carry-over. AXIC also incorporates an index locator feature that allows users to zoom in on regions of a document to accelerate the creation and population of index fields.
